Why we publish our lists 

Senate Order 15(Opens in a new tab/window) requires all Australian Government departments and agencies to table a list of appointments and vacancies related to: 

  • statutory authorities  
  • executive agencies  
  • advisory boards  
  • government business enterprises  
  • all other Commonwealth bodies.  

Appointments listed are agreed by the Prime Minister, Cabinet or relevant ministers.  

The lists are tabled 3 times a year, no later than 7 days before the commencement of: 

  • Budget Estimates 
  • Supplementary Budget Estimates 
  • Additional Estimates.
