Money Support Hubs can help you access financial counselling, financial skills services, no interest loans and emergency relief.
How Money Support Hubs work
Money Support Hubs provide:
- Financial and capability services
- access to the No Interest Loans Scheme (in some instances)
- emergency relief services (in some instances).
Eligibility
You can access these services if you’re:
- unable to pay a bill or are at imminent risk of not being able to pay a bill
- in receipt of an income support payment
- a newly arrived migrant/non-citizen (priority to be given to newly arrived refugees)
- a woman experiencing family violence.
Support available now
If you need support, you can contact the National Debt Helpline on 1800 007 007 or visit the website. The helpline is open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
You can also speak to a Financial Counsellor through the National Debt Helpline online chat service. Online chat is open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Calls from public phones/mobile phones may be timed and charged at a higher rate.
