Livestream recordings of Australia’s Disability Strategy National Forum are now available to watch online at Australia’s Disability Strategy Hub(Opens in a new tab/window).

The Forum was held on 2-3 November 2022 at the National Museum of Australia and livestreamed online. It brought together people with disability, disability advocates and community leaders to talk about the progress and future direction of Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-2031(Opens in a new tab/window).

The Forum included keynote addresses from Minister for Social Services Amanda Rishworth and seven interactive panel sessions covering the Strategy’s key outcome areas:

  • Employment and Financial Security
  • Inclusive Homes and Communities
  • Safety, Rights and Justice
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Education and Learning
  • Personal  and Community Support
  • Community Attitudes.

Key speakers include Australian of the Year Dylan Alcott AO, Disability Discrimination Commissioner Dr Ben Gauntlett and Wheeler Centre CEO Caro Llewellyn.

The recordings also feature Auslan interpreters and closed captions.
