Building a New Life in Australia (BNLA) is the first comprehensive study of its kind in more than a decade. It studies how refugees settle into a new life in Australia.
BNLA surveys participants over at least five years. Annual data collections spans from their early months in Australia through to their eligibility for citizenship.
Data collection commenced in 2013. The BNLA collection resumes in 2022.
