National Interim Update 2024: Government Response to the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability

This National Interim Update 2024 is a snapshot of some of the key areas of implementation progress in response to the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of people with Disability (Disability Royal Commission).

All governments have contributed to the Interim Update. The update includes selective examples from each jurisdiction and does not represent a comprehensive view of all action taken by individual governments.

Biannual reporting against all 222 Disability Royal Commission recommendations will commence from June 2025.
