Ministerial Taskforce on Child Support
Background
The Ministerial Taskforce on Child Support was established to provide advice on whether particular changes to the Child Support Scheme are required. The membership of the Taskforce was announced on 16 August 2004.The main role of the Taskforce was to examine the formula used to calculate payments for child support. It was also to consider other issues raised by the Government's response to the House of Representatives Standing Committee on Family and Community Affairs' report 'Every Picture Tells A Story'.
