A Disability Employment Services (DES) participant information pack is now available. The pack contains information to support DES participants in making informed choices on their employment journey.

What is the DES program?

The DES program supports people with disability, illness or health condition prepare for, find and keep a job.

DES providers deliver the DES program. They are organisations experienced in supporting people with disability.

DES participants have flexibility and choice over the services they receive from providers, and how they receive them.

How will the information pack help?

The information pack aims to help guide participants through the DES program by providing useful tips.

The pack contains frequently asked questions and fact sheets about:

  • What to expect from a DES provider
  • Sharing personal information
  • Making a complaint
  • What to do as a DES participant
  • Codes of Conduct.

The DES participant information pack has been translated into Simplified Chinese, Arabic and Vietnamese.
