Have your say on the Disability Employment Centre of Excellence
We want to hear from people with disability and the disability community about what a new Disability Employment Centre of Excellence should look like.
We want to hear from people with disability and the disability community about what a new Disability Employment Centre of Excellence should look like.
An options paper outlining suggested models and a proposed approach for a Disability Employment Centre of Excellence (Centre of Excellence) is now available for feedback on the DSS Engage(Opens in a new tab/window) website.
The Centre of Excellence will aim to improve employment outcomes for people with disability and improve the quality of employment services.
The options paper outlines and invites feedback on what the Centre of Excellence’s core functions and priorities should be.
Your feedback on the questions raised in the paper is important. It will help create a strong Centre of Excellence that can help more people with disability prepare for work, get a job, keep working, and progress their careers.
Feedback is welcome from anyone, including people with disability, family members, carers, advocates, service providers, peak bodies, universities, academics and other organisations.
Visit DSS Engage(Opens in a new tab/window) to view the options paper or make a submission or email COE@dss.gov.au to provide feedback.
Email COE@dss.gov.au with your postal address to receive a hard copy or Easy Read print out of the options paper.
Submissions close 27 November 2023.
Email COE@dss.gov.au for questions on the consultation process.
