ICB 2024-25 grant round

On 5 June 2024, the Australian Government announced the outcome of the ICB 2024-25 grant round, which opened on 7 September 2023 and closed on 30 November 2023. In this round, the Government invested $90 million in grants to 45 organisations to build the capacity of Australians with disability to participate in and contribute to the community. 

Organisations from across the disability sector received grants of up to $3,000,000 over 3 years to deliver life-changing projects for people with disability, their families and carers. Funded projects included: 

  • building the digital capability of people with disabilities, to explore their rights, grow a politic and grow vital disability narratives and share their voices with audiences 
  • building the skills, knowledge and confidence of Children and Young People with disability when interacting with foundational, mainstream and specialised disability, health and community supports and services during life transitions 
  • initiatives to provide new peer-to-peer online training activities for people with psychosocial disability and/or mental ill-health.
