National Carer Strategy Advisory Committee
Establishment
The Minister for Social Services, the Hon Amanda Rishworth MP appointed 16 members to the National Carer Strategy Advisory Committee. This includes 2 co-chairs, members from the carer community and sector representatives.
Committee members were selected through an open expression of interest process undertaken by the Department of Social Services.
Purpose and role
Committee members draw from their personal and professional experience to support the development, finalisation and implementation stages of the National Carer Strategy, as appropriate.
