Paid Income Model consultation now open

Professional services firm KPMG is conducting a review of the Social Services and Other Legislative Amendment (Simplifying Income Reporting and Other Measures) Act 2020. Public consultation forms the basis of this independent review.
We want to understand people’s experiences of reporting income under the Paid Income Model compared to the original reporting tool, the Earned Income Model.
Consultation is open from 15 March 2022 to 22 April 2022.
We want to hear from anyone who:
- receives a payment from Centrelink and needs to report their (or their partner’s) income
- represents or advocates on behalf of people receiving social security payments
- is an expert in social security law
- has expertise in other areas of public policy.
