Report now available on the review of the Reconnect Program

An independent review of the Reconnect Program has been conducted by Nous Group on behalf of the Department of Social Services. The review investigated the appropriateness, efficiency and effectiveness of Reconnect and is now finalised.

The review highlighted the importance of the Reconnect Program to children and young people, their families, and their communities.

Over 730 participants provided insights through stakeholder consultation activities including:

• Reconnect clients
• Reconnect Provider organisations
• young people with lived experience of homelessness
• state and territory government staff
• housing and homelessness and community services sectors representatives
• academics.
