Working Together to Care for Kids: A survey of foster and relative/kinship carers
The Commonwealth Department of Social Services commissioned the Australian Institute of Family Studies to conduct a survey of non-parent carers (including foster and relative/kinship carers) of children living in out-of-home care. The key objective of the Working Together to Care for Kids Survey was to enhance the understanding of the circumstances, needs and experiences of foster and relative kinship carers of children under the age of 18 years across Australia.
The survey report and fact sheets providing key information about the survey results can be found on the Australian Institute of Family Studies website.
